Lori Ann Kanyak Falchettie

Lori Ann Kanyak Falchetti, age 49, of Munhall, formerly of McKeesport, died May 12, 2014 surrounded by her sister; Valerie, niece; Amber and good friend Diane Detweiller. She is the daughter of the late Peter and Isabel Shoaf Kanyak and was born in McKeesport on May 23, 1964.

She was previously employed by the Peer Group as a secretary. She is survived by her siblings; Valerie (Richard) Gallagher of Dravosburg, Janice Kanyak of Dravosburg and Peter Kanyak of McKeesport, nieces; Amber (Josh) Saunders and April Banks, great niece; Baylee and nephew; Josh and best friend and ex-husband, Brian Falchetti.

She was a volunteer for the White Oak Animal Safe Haven, a member of the Homestead Park United Methodist Church and a supporter of Save the Children.

Friends will be received at the Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, 15132 (412 678 6191) on Wed. from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thurs. at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Charles Jack officiating.
