Leona Gordon, 101, of Pittsburgh, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012. She was born in Baltimore, MD on December 21, 1910, and is the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Sutton Gordon. She was a Registered Nurse. She was preceded in death by brother, Charles Gordon and her twin sister Dolores Gordon.
She is survived by niece; Joy Gordon (Stephen) Wood of Grasonville, MD, nephew; Glenn (Terry) Gordon of Pasadena, MD, great niece; Amy Wood, great nephews; Richard and Charles Gordon.
A mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 9:00 am at St. Angela Merici Church, 1640 Fawcett Avenue, White Oak, 15131.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) after the mass on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Entombment will be the following day.
