Larry Dumas, of the Bryn Mawr Section of White Oak, died Thursday June, 16th 2011 in McKeesport Hospital of cancer.

Born December 2, 1945 he was a friend to everyone. He was loyal and dependable, as constant as the Northern Star. His gentle character will be remembered by his community, friends, family and church, St. Angela Merici, where he volunteered for many years as an altar server. He loved to visit friends and family while out riding his bike or walking.

He was preceded in death by his father Anthony and brothers Philip and Regis. He is survived by his mother Lucy of White Oak, sister Toni(Joe) Ashbaugh of McKeesport, brothers Harry(Beverly) of West Mifflin, Paul (Teresa )of Charlotte Hall, Maryland, Martin (Barb) of Lake Isabella, Calif., Fred of White Oak and Carl (Grace) of San Pedro, Calif. , and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Mon. from Noon until 2:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tues. at St. Angela Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Polish Cemetery.
