Kula Manolakis Tedesco Goughnour, age 56, of White Oak, died Feb. 18, 2011. Born in McKeesport March 17, 1954 she is the daughter of Thelma Theodore Manolakis of White Oak and the late Michael Manolakis.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, James Goughnour, son, A.J. Tedesco of McKeesport, step daughter, Angelica Goughnour of McKeesport, sisters Lisa (Dr. Richard) Lindsey of Colorado Springs, CO, Mary Ann Snyder of Brentwood, PA and Nikki (Raymond) Swartz of Glassport, PA. She is also survived by her grand dog Oden, beloved nieces and nephews, Autumn, Alexis, Amy, Samantha, Michael and Christopher, as well as, great grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Ali (Dr. Ted) Manolakis-Osial.

She was the recipient of a heart transplant five and a half years ago, therefore she was involved with Team Pittsburgh which is the Transplant Olympics. She was a very loyal McKeesporter (once a Tiger, always a Tiger) and very active in many organizations through the years.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Tues. from 6-8 pm, Wed. 2-4 & 6-8 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Annuciation Greek Orthodox Church. (Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. there will be Trisagion services). Burial will follow at Round Hill Cemetery.
