Kenneth Edward Pishinsky

Kenneth Edward Pishinsky, age 72, died suddenly at home on July 25, 2026. He is preceded in death by his parents, Adolph “Augie” Pishinsky and Alice (Kabo) Pishinsky. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica and Juliet; his wife, Cindy; his brother, Keith (Gina); his sister, Cheryl (George); and his four‑legged buddy, Brutus. He also served in the United States Air Force Reserves.

Ken was a complicated man who navigated challenging relationships, often shaped by his own choices. Those who knew him knew he had a rough edge, but he showed his love through acts of service and by stepping in when something needed to be done.

He was a die-hard Steelers fan who planned his life around the football schedule. He loved the Three Stooges, Godzilla, old B‑movies, tools, fast cars, Harley‑Davidson motorcycles, and his beloved Elvira, who had more photos on his walls than his own children. When he had the patience, he was a good teacher and enjoyed sharing what he knew. He had particular tastes and appreciated good food in classy establishments, especially when he wasn’t the one paying. Ken also enjoyed attending ComicCon and meeting celebrities.

Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Kenneth’s memory on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, and Adam Striffler Galaski, funeral director, 412-678-6177).
