Ken Snyder

Ken Snyder, 79, of West Mifflin died March 5, 2013. He was born in Lincoln Place Feb. 12, 1934 and is the son of the late Lawrence and Elsie Holt Snyder and the husband of the late Toni Logue Snyder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed at the McKeesport Daily News for over 40 years. He was also a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose Hays Lodge #1436. Ken was a true sports fanatic; played baseball for the Duquesne Zemps and loved to play golf.

He is survived by Marie Kocak companion of 18 years with whom he resided, children; Mark (Faith) Snyder of Miami, FL, Erik (Shelly) Snyder of West Mifflin, PA and Leslie (Brad Adams) O'Nan of Gibsonia, PA, 12 grandchildren; sister; Nancy Kirmeyer of Gibsonia, PA. He is preceded in death by siblings; Larry, Don, Bob & Gene Snyder and Phyllis Walker.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of Dravosburg/West Mifflin Funeral Home, 740 Pgh.-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, 15034 (412 678 6192) on Thursday 2:00-8:00 PM. Services will be Friday 12:00 noon at the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Charles Owston officiating. Burial will follow.
