Karen Kay Shawley, age 79, of Madison, PA, formerly of Herminie, PA, passed away on Sunday morning, May 17, 2026, at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital. She was born in Greensburg, PA, on February 28, 1947, and was the daughter of the late John “Moe” and Irene Estelle Pace Esasky.
Karen was a manicurist for many years but most importantly a homemaker, wife, mom, and grammy. She had the kindest of souls and was selfless. She was strong-willed and tough but loved with the most gentle heart.
