Karen Lee Russin Brennen

Karen Lee Russin Brennen, age 62 of North Huntingdon, died March 14, 2014. Born in McKeesport on August 25, 1951 she is the daughter of the late Frank and Laura Wozniak Russin. She graduated from Penn State University as a Registered Nurse. She was employed at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville and many other hospitals in the area over the years. She is a member of the Port Vue Methodist Church and their Women's Club. She also was an avid volunteer for the church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years; Robert Brennen, her son; Mark Robert Brennen of North Irwin, siblings; Richard (Miyong) Russin of Reston, Virginia, Lori (Jim) Balawajder of Penn Twp., niece; Lauren Balawajder, nephew; Jimmy Balawajder and her mother-in-law; Ann Brennen of Port Vue.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Monday 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Port Vue United Methodist Church with Pastor Josephine Whitely-Fields and Pastor Jody Dausey officiating. Burial will follow.
