Julie M. Bokin

Julie M. Bokin, age 55, of Duquesne died August 25, 2010. Born in McKeesport on February 17, 1955 she is the daughter of the late Lawrence & Amelia Gregory Jordan. She is the wife of John D. Bokin of Duquesne. She worked as an LPN at Briarcliff Pavilion For Specialized Care for 12 years and as an Aid at Elder Crest Nursing Home prior. She is survived by children John D. Bokin, Jr., of West Mifflin, Lucille (Thomas) Kamauf of Liberty Boro, Nicki Bokin and Dave Woolheater of West Elizabeth, grandchildren Corey, Zachary, Tristan, Lucian, and Giavanna, siblings Grace Emerick of Somerset, Lois Jordan of Duquesne, Donna (Milt) DeFrances of McKeesport, JoAnn (Minor) Rodriguez of McKeesport, Jack (JoAnn) Jordan of Erie, and Joseph (Karen) Jordan of White Oak. She was preceded in death by her sister Frances Emerick.

Friends will be received at Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-6191) on Saturday from 6-8PM and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8PM . Service will be held Monday at 10AM in the funeral home chapel with her brother-in-law Pastor Jack Bokin officiating.
