Julia Marie Sholtis, age 70, of Braddock Hills, died Nov. 6, 2011. She was born in Rossiter on January 1, 1941 and is the daughter of the late James and Julia McCloskey Sholtis. She is survived by her siblings Dorothy J. Lees of Glassport, Noreen Virgona of Georgia and Joseph Sholtis of N. Dakota; nieces and nephews Terri (Bill) Toth, Vonnie (John) Hosni, Jack (Pam) Lees and Rick (Danette) Lees, great nieces and nephews, and her best friend Chipper.
She was preceded in death by siblings Rose Wrobul, Patricia Tanatelo, Mary Lou McKinney, James, Thomas and Robert Sholtis.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Thurs. from 3:00 until 7:00 pm. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel Thursday at 7:00 pm with Chaplain Les Martin officiating.
