Juanita Lorraine Prontiker

Juanita Lorraine Prontiker, 75, of McKeesport went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, September 21, 2015 while at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Smithfield on May 26, 1940 and is the daughter to the late Walter E. and Bessie (Bowman) McGee. She was the wife of the late Mike Prontiker.

She was employed at Bucyrus-Erie in Glassport, then retired from Kane Regional Hospital Center in McKeesport after 20 years of service. She was a member of West Side United Methodist Church in McKeesport.

She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Prontiker Pastories of McKeesport; grandchildren, Brandi Pastories of Natrona Heights and Jerison Pastories of McKeesport; great-grandchildren, Trina and Skyler Pastories; sister, Betty O'Shell from Pittsburgh; brother, Arthur McGee from Uniontown; many nieces & nephews; and dear friend, Bruce Rhine. She was preceded in death by sisters, Garnet Latavec, Elsie Harold; and brothers, Paul, Jim, George, Everett, Russell and Delbert McGee.

Juanita was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her and will be missed dearly.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor 412 678 6177) on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Services will be Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ken Jones and Rev. Dawn Check officiating. Entombment will follow at Lebanon Chapel Mausoleum.
