Joyce Daerr Benick

Joyce Daerr Benick, age 76, of McKeesport, died Feb. 14, 2014. She was born in McKeesport on Sept. 17, 1937 and is the daughter of the late Albert and Ethel Berbick Daerr. She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She is survived by her husband of 48 years; Edward "Jerry" Benick, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. (Parastas services will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.) Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wed. at 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Byzantine Church. Burial will follow.
