Joseph William Mikolics

Joseph William Mikolics, age 86, of Monessen, formerly of Port Vue died, February 16, 2012. He was born in McKeesport on September 26, 1925 and is the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Joczik Mikolics. He was preceded in death by his wife; Laura Berrett Mikolics, in 1983, his companion; Marguerite "Petty" DiCenzo in 2009 and brothers; Rudolph and Ernest.

He was retired from the former Rendulic Packing Company and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He is survived by his children; Patricia (Jack) Osterman of North Huntingdon and Richard (Beverly) Mikolics of Greenock, grandchildren; Laurie, Lisa, Lindsay, Nathan, Zachary and Kelsey and great grandchildren; Lukas, Tyler, Alexa, and Lillian.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678-6177) on Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Officiated by Rev. David S. Lake. Burial will follow.
