Joseph Paul Kowalski, III, 63, of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania was spirited away on July 27, 2015. Bereft of life, he rests, in peace.
Born July 22, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA to parents, Dorothy Fitz Kowalski and the late Joseph Kowalski. He attended Norwin High School, graduating in 1970. After high school, Joseph attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. Joseph worked as an accountant for Snap-On Tools for twenty years.
Joseph was a free-spirited individual of much talent, capability, intelligence, tolerance, sincerity, and, above all else, kindness. He enjoyed reading, music, the arts, and conversing with others on a wide variety of topics. Joseph was inquisitive—always questioning and learning—and ready to share empirical or philosophic foundations for his ideas. Our late, lamented, and loved Joseph will be missed deeply, but his inspiration lives.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Dorothy Kowalski; his sister, Karen Sansosti and her husband Frank; his brother, Robert Kowalski and his wife Ellen; his nephew Frank J. Sansosti and his wife Jenine and daughter Natalia; and close family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marianne, and father, Joseph P. Kowalski
Joseph requested a private memorial. A subsequent ceremony celebrating Joseph's life will be held with immediate family members. The family wishes to thank all of those who cherished Joseph over the years.
