Joseph D. Defelice

Joseph P. DeFelice, 69, died Monday, July 13, 2015, at the VA Hospital, Aspinwall, after a long battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 2, 1946, in Pittsburgh, to Catherine E. (Fox) DeFelice and the late Michael Paul DeFelice. He is survived by his two children, Tracy Robison, of North Huntingdon, and Joseph P. DeFelice II, of Glassport; grandchildren, Joseph Paul III and Steven Thompson III; great-granddaughters, Ivory and Savanna DeFelice; brothers, Michael J. DeFelice, of North Huntingdon, and John Thomas DeFelice, of Elizabeth; and sisters, Kathryn Payton, of Mahlomedi, Minn., and Mary Lee Payne, of Baldwin Borough. Joe was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned various medals. He was a machinist at Christy Park Works, where he worked with his father, Michael Paul. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, at HUNTER-EDMUNDSON-STRIFFLER FUNERAL HOME, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132, 412-678-6191.
