John Wesley Evans, age 87, of North Versailles died Sunday, July 19, 2015. He was born in McKeesport on March 17, 1928 and is the son of the late Daniel and Frances Duncan Evans. He was employed at Fort Pitt Steel in Christy Park and then Goodwill.
He is survived by his brother, Harry Evans of North Huntingdon and sister, Geraldine Nestor also of North Huntingdon; nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by siblings, Herbert Evans and Anna Margaret Gach.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, (412 678-6177) on Wednesday, July 22nd from 6-8 pm. Services will be on Thursday, July 23rdat 9:30 am at the funeral home chapel.
Remembrances may be made to the Handicapped of Western PA, Inc., PO Box 23, Allison Park, 15101-0023.
