John E.

John E. Artim, Jr. of N. Versailles Twp., died June 7, 2011. He was born in Duquesne on Oct. 5, 1936 and is the son of the late John E. and Lucy Shaw Artim. He is retired from LTV Steel Company. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Files Artim, sons Robert (Kerri) Artim of Monaca, Gary (Shirlita) Artim of N. Versailles and Gregory (Tracy) Artim of N. Huntingdon, grandchildren Shawn, Jeff, Thomas, Steven, Gary, Ashley and Tyler, two great grandchildren and sister Nancy Oeler of Boca Raton, Florida.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Thurs. from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow.
