John J. Ambrose

John J. Ambrose, age 77, of N. Versailles died on September 1, 2013. He was born in Chicago, IL on October 27, 1935 and is the son of the late Joseph and Bertha Jupin Ambrose. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, June Algeri Ambrose; son Randy Ambrose of Monroeville; daughter Lisa (David) Cecere of S. Fayette; grandchildren Dante Cecere and Erica Ambrose; and brother Charles (Dorothy) Ambrose of Duquesne. He was preceded in death by sister, Bonnie Vash.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Mass will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Burial will follow.
