Joan M. Davis

Joan M. Davis, age 75, of White Oak, died March 3, 2011. She was born in McKeesport on Sept. 28, 1935 and is the daughter of the late John and Helen Mains. She was also preceded in death by husband, Frederick and sister Patricia Niedzwecki. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in McKeesport and a member of St. Angela Merici Church.

She is survived by daughters Terri (Michael) Soltis of N. Huntington, Diane (David) Devine of Jefferson Hills and Melanie (Rick) Kirschner of White Oak, grandchildren Leslie (John) Steward, Stephanie Devine and Lindsey Soltis, step grandchildren Rick Kirschner, Jr. and Tara (Mark)Perhacs, sisters, (Twin) Jean Miller of White Oak and Kathleen (Lynn) Berringer of Montgomery, Texas and brother John (Linda) Mains of Johnstown, nieces and nephews, and beloved dog, Buddy.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services,1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor,412 678 6177) on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 9:00 am at St. Angela Church.
