Jennifer Elash

Jennifer Stefaniak Elash, of White Oak, beloved mother, wife and daughter, died Monday, August 25, 2014 at the age 42. She is survived by her adoring daughters Grace Elizabeth, Emma Louise, and Sarah Ann as well as her loving husband J. Jason Elash. Born December 10, 1971, in Uniontown, PA to proud parents, Iva Menear Stefaniak of White Oak and John Stefaniak of Washington, PA. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, John and Louise "Mum-Mum" Stefaniak.

Jennifer was a graduate of Geibel High School and University of Pittsburgh. "Miss Jen" was an active community member and proud supporter of all her daughters' activities. She was a greatly loved granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A special thank you to her Aunt Brenda for all her love and support as well as all the medical and nursing staff at Shadyside Hospital involved in her care.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 PM and Thursday from 8:30-9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, 310 32nd Street, McKeesport, 15132. Donations may be made to Hillman Cancer Center, 5115 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh, 15232.
