Janice Lynn Kanyak

Janice Lynn Kanyak, age 47, of Dravosburg, formerly of West Mifflin, died April 14, 2015 surrounded by her sister; Valerie, niece; April, and "sister-sister", Joy Grady. She was born in McKeesport on May 20, 1967 and is the daughter of the late Peter and Isabel Shoaf Kanyak. She attended the Adult Training Center in Liberty Borough. She is survived by siblings; Valerie (Richard) Gallagher of Dravosburg and Peter Kanyak of McKeesport, nieces; Amber (Josh) Saunders and April Banks, great- niece; Baylee and great-nephew; Josh. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings; Stephen Kanyak and Lori Falchetti.

Friends will be received at the Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, 15132 (412-678-6191) on Thursday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Charles Jack officiating. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery.
