James Edmund Hinerman, Sr.

James Edmund Hinerman, Sr., age 66, of McKeesport, PA, died on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. He was born in McKeesport, PA, on July 22, 1960, and was the son of Rosalie Morini Hinerman of McKeesport, PA; and the late Gerald Regis Hinerman, Sr. He was employed as a machinist by Vangura Tool, Inc. in Clairton, PA, for forty-six years. James enjoyed taxidermy work, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a member of the Collinsburg Liederkranz German Club in West Newton, PA.

James is survived by his daughters, Nicole Hinerman of Greensburg, PA; Amber (Osborne Johnson) Hinerman of West Newton, PA; Kelly (Mitchell) Bargo of Granville, PA; and Gwendolyn Hinerman of Princeton, TX; son, James Edmund (Destiny) Hinerman, Jr. of Wyano, PA; grandchildren, Adam and Andrew, known as “Charlie and Joe;” Cole; James; Jaylynn; Kylee; Maren; and Brook; sister, Mary Jo (Scott) Dirle of McKeesport, PA; brother, Gerald Regis (Kim) Hinerman, Jr. of West Newton, PA; numerous nieces and nephews; and significant other, Kristen Natali of McKeesport, PA.

In addition to his father, James is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kira Brown.

Family and friends are invited to honor James’s memory on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, and Adam Striffler Galaski, funeral director, 412 678 6177). Mass of Chrisitan Burial will take place on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick Church, 310 32nd Street, McKeesport, PA, 15132.
