James P. Donoghue

James P. Donoghue, age 56, of McKeesport, died October 1, 2010. Husband of Delilah "Dee" Jenkins and son of the late Marty and Cornelia Cornette Donoghue. He retired from Clairton Works in the Water Purification Department after 31 years of service. He also worked at Bob's Garage in Clairton.

He is survived by children Allan A. (Diana) Jenkins of Land O'Lakes, FL, Eric J. (Nancy) Jenkins of N. Versailles, Richard S. (Markia) Jenkins of McKeesport, Matthew S. Potter of N. Braddock, Melissa J. Burke of McKeesport, Holly L. (Howard) Thomas of McKeesport, Connie M. (Jason) Lumpkin of Penn Hills, 20 grandchildren, siblings Robert (Sharen) Donoghue of Montgomery, AL, Mary Pat (Mark) Matthews of Clairton, Tom Donoghue of Clairton, brother-in-law Duane Metzler of Montgomery, AL, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by sister Susan Metzler and son-in-law Lee "Poo" Burke.

Friends will be received at Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, Inc. (412-678-6191) on Sunday, October 3, from 2:00 until 6:00PM when funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Montae Nicholson officiating.
