James Danny Dixon

James Danny Dixon, age 65, of McKeesport, died July 18, 2015. He was born in Athens, Ohio on Nov. 3, 1949 and is the son of the late Charles and Harriet Clark Dixon. He is a retired self-employed mechanic. He is the husband of Verajane Johannes Dixon and is also survived by step daughters; Juanita Findrick of McKeesport, Christina Flora of N. Versailles, Cindy Bryan of McK., Vera Hovan of E. McK. and Inez Burgman of N. Huntingdon, daughters; Amy and Carla Dixon both of Athens, Ohio, step sons; James Bryan of Dravosburg, Tod Bryan of Buena Vista and Troy Bryan of Cape Vincent, N. York, sons; Randy Dennis and Tim Dennis both of Athens, Ohio, sisters; Shirley Dixon, Alice Ronk, Carolyn LaFollita and Billie Jo Dixon all of Glouster, Ohio and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by baby Dixon and 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Friends will be received at the Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Homes, 600 Market St., McK., 15132 (412 678 6191) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be held Wed. at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow.
