James "Papa John" Canova

James "Papa John" Canova, age 76, of Port Vue, died September 7. Born January 14, 1934, he is the son of the late John and Rosalia Vallelunga Canova. He was a well known musician and played with numerous bands in McKeesport and the surrounding areas and also a barber.
He is survived by his siblings Frank (Patricia) Canova of Dravosburg, Mary Kennedy of McKeesport, sister-in-law Maria Canova and Bill South, and many nieces and nephews.
Burial at McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery at a later date.
