Jack Leyland

Jack Leyland, age 73, of Buena Vista died Feb. 26, 2015. He was born in McKeesport on Nov. 11, 1941 and is the son of the late Earl M. and Mary Trainor Leyland. He was employed by Bob Massie Toyota and retired as the Used Car Manager after many years. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Marines.

He is survived by his beloved daughters; Tiana (Michael) Melocchi of N. Huntingdon, Jacqueline Leyland of Arona, Bridget Leyland of Pgh., and Annie-Laurie Leyland of Munhall, grandsons; Christopher "C.J." Evanov, Jesse Evanov and David Herrmann, great grandson; Tristan, siblings; Robert (Dolores) Leyland of Sarasota, Fla., Ronald (Janet) Leyland of Eliz. Twp., and Linda "Lu-Lu" Hippard of Greenock, mother of Tiana & Jacqueline; Turra Mauldin of Greensburg. He is also survived by two very special young men who Jack referred to as grandsons; Nick and Alec Ruffing. He is preceded in death by his brother, Earl and the mother of Bridget & Annie-Laurie; Judith Leyland.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tues. at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 101 McLay Dr., Elizabeth, PA 15037. Arrangements are being handled by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services (412 678 6177).
