J. Richard Lawrence

J. Richard Lawrence, age 74, of McKeesport, formerly of Monroeville, died Oct. 21, 2011. He was born on May 22, 1937 in Scranton and is the son of the late Julian and Mary Schumn Lawrence. He is retired from Advanced Metalurgy Inc. and a member of St. Alban's Anglican Church in Murrysville and a former member of All Soul's Episcopal Church in N. Versailles.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Markovich Lawrence, daughters Shannon Lawrence of Harrisburg and Jennifer (Justin) Keogh of Pgh., stepson Ronald (Victoria) Massung of Wexford, step grandson Jacob, siblings Nancy (Erv Hiller) Lawrence of Upper S. Hampton Twp. and Steve (Anne) Lawrence of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor 412 678 6177) on Tues. from 4:00 until 8:00 pm. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wed. at St. Alban's Church, 4920 Cline Hollow Road, Murrysville, 15146 with the Rev. David H. Grissom officiating.
