Howard W. Prezel

Howard W. Prezel, 97, of Dravosburg, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016. He was born Sept. 25, 1918, in Pittsburgh, and was a son of the late Charles and Emma Jones Prezel. Howard was the loving husband of the late Margaret Herreran Prezel. He worked as a sign painter at Helderlein Signs and was an employee of Haines Supermarket. He was also a proud member of Corpus Christi Church. He is survived by sons, Thomas M. (Linda) Prezel, of Bethel Park, and James H. (Jean) Prezel, of Gainsville, Ga.; daughter, Virginia (Bill) McCombs, of Duquesne; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by siblings, Evelyn Worthington, Dorothy Scott and Robert Prezel. Friends will be received 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES INC., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Corpus Christi Church, with Father Michael J. Maranowski officiating. Burial will follow.
