Hilda S. Janke

Hilda S. Janke, age 81, of White Oak, died January 29, 2011. Born in Dormont February 22, 1929. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Hilda Whucter Ziegenfuss. A graduate of Grove City College in 1950 where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. She was a substitute teacher and a garage sale enthusiast.

She is survived by children Janette A. (Lance) Ellenberger, Jennifer Janke (Mark) Sargent and Jeffrey Janke all of White Oak. Also survived by grandchildren Jessica, Lance, Paige, and Cristina and former husband Joseph (Lois) Janke of White Oak. Preceded in death by son Joseph and sister Georgine Lyons.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak 15131 ( Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor (412-678-6177) Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8. Services will be Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church at 10 AM with Pastor Richard Krug. Burial will follow.
