Helen Dihtzeruk Payer

Helen Dihtzeruk Payer, age 89, of White Oak, died June 8, 2014. She was born in Braddock on March 6, 1925 and is the daughter of the late Roman and Elizabeth Barilla Dihtzeruk and the wife of the late Francis Payer, Sr.

She is survived by her children; Timothy (Mary) Payer of Pittsburgh and Mary Beth (Jim) Pardoe of White Oak, grandchildren; Ashley (Brian) Palmer, Alex Payer, Carly Pardoe, great-grandchild; Tyler Palmer, Godson; Robin (Kelly) Simmons and their children Olivia and A.J. Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her son; Francis Payer, Jr. and her brother; John Dihtzeruk.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, 412 678 6177) on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow.
