Helen F. Hamilton

Helen F. Hamilton, age 100, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Penn Hills died July 26, 2011 in Greensburg, PA. She was born in Export, PA on February 10, 1911 and is the third child of the late George and Edith Fink. " Gram," to her family and friends, was the quintessential maternal figure, warm and welcoming. She was the Children's Sermon Storyteller at the church for many, many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Warren Hamilton, her eldest son, Charles, and sister and brother, Elizabeth and Carl Fink. She is survived by her son, George, and his wife, Christine, daughter-in-law, Janice (Sib) Weiskircher Hamilton, six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A gathering will be held Saturday at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 12727 Lincoln Way, N. Huntingdon, 15642, from 9:30 until 11:00 am. Services will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Janet Reid officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron UP Church Cemetery, Penn Hills, where she will at long last rejoin her beloved husband, Warren.
