Harry Ronald Beck

Harry Ronald Beck, age 77, of N. Versailles, died May 30, 2011. He was born in McKeesport on Dec. 12, 1933 and is the son of the late Edward Everett Beck and Frances Irene Heasley Beck Germek. He was retired after 43 years from Westinghouse AirBrake and was one of the original Auxiliary Police for White Oak Borough. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Genevieve Fillar Beck, children Debra (Anthony) Zavolta of N. Versailles, John (Donna) Beck of LaFollette, TN, Jeanne (Craig) Kiefer of N. Versailles, Donald (Vonda) Beck of Martinez, GA, Ronald (Lori) Beck of Palmer Lake, CO, Delores (Richard) Mangus of Winslow, AZ, Terry (Steve Ireland) Beck of Henderson, NV and Tracey (Steve) Kuiper of Boerne, TX, siblings Janis Bonine of Sarasota, Florida and the late Edward "Sonny" Beck.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) Thurs. 2 until 8 pm. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Fri. at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Steve Kresak officiating.
