Gloria Slaugh

Gloria Slaugh, age 85, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, October 22, 2016. She was born in McKeesport on March 18, 1931 and is the daughter of Chester R. Miconi and Rosemarie Miconi Vitanza who are deceased. Her loving husband Lawrence Slaugh is also deceased. She was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and worked as a substitute teacher for Francis McClure School and also at the McKeesport Daily News. She will be sadly missed by her surviving son, Stuart Slaugh of California; sister, Norma June Garlick of Connellsville; and nephews, Blayne Beeler of Virginia and Randall Beeler of Texas, as well as two great nephews and two great nieces. Family burial will take place at McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery.
