Glenn E. Kniepkamp, age 92, of Finleyville, formerly of Boston, PA, died Oct. 10, 2011. He was born in Elizabeth Twp. on Sept. 30, 1919 and is the son of the late Earl L. and Hilda M. Auberle Kniepkamp. He is the husband of the late Lesta I. Edmundson Kniepkamp who died May 18, 2000.
He was retired as a welder from USS National Works and spent much of his free time at the Quality Mill Works in Finleyville. He was a member of U.S.W.A Local #1408, the Antique Auto Club of America and the Circus Model Builders.
Friends will be received at the Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, 15132 (412 678 6191) on Wed. 6-8 pm. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 am Thursday with Rev. Kathleen Barnhart officiating. Burial will follow.
