Geraldine "Geri" Mccarthy

Geraldine "Geri" McCarthy, age 59, of White Oak, died Dec. 11, 2011. She was born in McKeesport on March 10, 1952 and is the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Erdody Urbaniak. She was employed at UPMC Southside in the billing department for approximately 30 years and was a volunteer for the Leukemia Society. She is survived by her husband Richard "Rick" McCarthy, son; Michael McCarthy of N. Versailles, siblings; Barbara (Fred) Tolley of Virginia Beach, VA and Robert Urbaniak of Elizabeth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor 412 678 6177) on Wed. from 2:00 until 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thurs. at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church. Burial will follow.
