Gerald W. Wardropper, 62, of Elizabeth Twp., died July 8, 2010. Born May 15, 1948, he was the son of the late Harry and Edna Littleton Wardropper. He worked for Bechtel Bettis as a Chemistry Specialist. He was the husband of Linda Wakefield Wardropper of Elizabeth Twp.. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of the McKeesport Gun Club, NRA, and Buckeye Basset Club.
He is survived by son Dean (Jennifer) Wardropper of Buena Vista, daughter Audra (Michael) Hochreiter of Newville, grandchildren Ryan, Emily, Nicholas, Noah, and Alexander, siblings James (Norma) Wardropper of Dravosburg, Tom Wardropper of Elizabeth, Byron (Bethany) Wardropper of N. Huntingdon, Veronica Hemus of Belle Vernon, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday and Monday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Striffler's of Dravosburg/West Mifflin, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Boulevard, Dravosburg, PA 15034 (412-678-6192). Service will be Tuesday 10AM at the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at Round Hill Cemetery.
