George Yunecko

George Yunecko, age 80, of West Mifflin, died December 5, 2013. He was born in McKeesport on January 1, 1933 and is the son of the late Gabor and Susanna Bunyak Yunecko. He was a member of St. Agnes Church in West Mifflin, loved working on his own cars, doing home projects and fishing in his spare time.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61½ years, Catherine Golobic Yunecko, children; Pat DeVries of Westford, Joseph (Patricia) Yunecko of Runnemede, NJ, George Junecko of Port Vue, Martin (Connie) Yunecko of Homestead, Paul Yunecko of West Mifflin, , Kathleen McBride of Duquesne, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister; Mary Schmidt of White Oak, many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by siblings; Edward, John, Steve, Ann, Helen, and Irene.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of Dravosburg/West Mifflin Funeral Home, 740 Pgh.-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, 15034 (412 678 6192) on Sunday 4-8:00 pm. Services will be Monday at 10:00 am at St. Agnes Church in West Mifflin with Fr. Joseph Grosko officiating. Burial will follow.
