George R. Burgman

George R. Burgman, Jr., age 79, of Dravosburg, died Jan. 29, 2015. He was born in McKeesport on Feb. 12, 1935 and is the son of the late George R. and Jane Boddice Burgman, Sr. He served in the Army as a helicopter mechanic. He was a mechanical draftsman and a manager at Lehigh Design. He was an active member of the South Park Area Radio Control Society and was also involved with local NASCAR racing. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years; Mary "Betty" Oskin Burgman, son; G. Jayme (Carol) Burgman of White Oak, Michael (Laurie) Burgman of Pleasant Hills, Debra (Daniel) Tepper of Acme, PA and Cherie (Todd Phillips) of White Oak, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of Dravosburg/West Mifflin Funeral Home, 740 Pgh.-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, 15034 (412-678-6192) on Sat. 6-8 p.m. and Sun. 1-4 & 6-8 p.m. Mass will be on Monday at 10:00 at Holy Spirit Church and burial will be in Lebanon Church Cemetery.
