Frank J. Ruszkoski, age 93 of Glassport died March 28, 2014. He was born in Glassport on December 8, 1920 and is the son of the late Zygmund and Loretta Gniazdowski Ruszkoski. He was retired from Bucyrus Erie as a pattern maker and carpenter.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years (who he referred to as "the prettiest Slovak girl"; Beatrice Sabol Ruszkoski, children; Jennifer (James) Ruszkoski-Caldwell of South Park and Raymond (the late Laura) Ruszkoski of Glassport, grandchildren; Christopher Caldwell of Pgh, Allison Caldwell of South Park, Benjamin (Carrie) Ruszkoski of Johnstown, PA and Jacob (Karen) Ruszkoski Farmington, Mass., great- grandchildren; Cameron, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Lauren, sisters; Frances Skotnicki of White Oak and Anna Kuk of Port Vue, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph.

He was a WW II U.S. Army veteran, a member of the PNA in Glassport, the Glassport American Legion, and The Queen of Rosary Catholic Church. He loved to go dancing with wife at the Palisades in McKeesport, loved gardening and was an avid Pirates fan.

Friends will be received at the Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market Street, McKeesport, 15132 (412 678 6191) on Monday from Noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. His son-in-law, Jim Caldwell, will officiate. Burial will follow.
