Frank G. Brooks, age 90, of McKeesport, died Dec. 26, 2011. He was born in McKeesport on October 4, 1921 and is the son of the late Alexander and Frances Brooks. He is survived by wife Mary Carol Brooks of McKeesport; daughters, Carol Ciafre of Murrysville, and Janet ( James) Davison of North Huntingdon; son, Dr. Francis W. (Joyce) Brooks of Orlando, FL, as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren and siblings John Brooks of White Oak and Eleanor Hancharik of Versailles.
He retired with 42 years of service at U.S. Steel and served in the US Army in WWII.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412.678.6177) Wednesday from 10 am until Noon when a blessing service will be held in the funeral home chapel. A family burial will follow.
