Frank R. Bellas, Sr. age 90, of Port Vue, PA, died on April 21, 2026. He was born in McKeesport, PA, on February 26, 1936, and is the son of the late John and Julia Pavelko Bellas.
In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Raszewski Bellas, who died on July 23, 2016; brothers, Edward; John; and Larry Bellas; and sisters, Helen Bellas Dominick; and Margaret Bellas Karpach.
Frank is survived by his children, Donna (Mark) Luchetti of Greensburg, PA; Sandra Coffey of Boston, MA; and Frank R. Bellas, Jr. of Port Vue, PA; and grandchildren, Jill Lucchetti of Greensburg, PA; and Gavin Coffey of Boston, MA.
Frank was a graduate of McKeesport High School, Class of 1954. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 until 1959 before returning to start his family and career. He was employed as a manager by Sears in the Automotive Department at Century III Mall in West Mifflin, PA. He worked to ensure that all of his customers were satisfied with his work. Frank took pride in his home, family, and achievements. He enjoyed watching action movies, and sports, especially golf.
A burial took place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Vue, PA. Arrangements were cared for by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
