Francis "Sonny" Bernard Tatrai, age 73, of Port Vue died on October 30, 2014. He was born in California, PA on January 27, 1941 and is the son of the late Helen Sara Lexi and Albert Tatrai.
He retired from GM Fisher Body after 23 years of service but continued to work part time for NAPA Auto Parts in White Oak. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin in the Laurel Highlands fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Renee Redzanic Tatrai; children, Dean Tatrai of Detroit, Michigan, John Mattie of Long Beach, California, Deborah (Gary) Meyers of Pittsburgh, Terry Kula of McKeesport, Mary Jane Mattie of Harrisburg, Tony Mattie of Glassport, Tammy Moore of Wilmington, Delaware, Renee Tatrai of Port Vue, Fran (Ken) Trimpey of Elizabeth; 24 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Albert (Barbara) Tatrai of Colorado, and Margaret Chorba of White Oak.
Friends will be received at the Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, 15132 (412 678 6191) on Tuesday from 4-6:00 pm. Services will follow at 6:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
