Fanny Elias

Fanny Elias, 90, of White Oak, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015. She was born Oct. 4, 1925, in West Newton, and was a daughter of the late Jameil and Manira Nader Elias. She retired as a secretary for Westinghouse Airbrake in Wilmerding. She was a member of Eastern Star Corinth Chapter of Pitcairn, enjoyed watching her soap operas, playing cards and The Steelers. She was a devoted and loving caregiver to her entire family and will be missed dearly. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lottie Elias, of North Versailles; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, James, Sue, Esper, Sara, David and Mike. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow.
