Evelyn Schneider, age 78, of McKeesport, died April 4, 2014. She was born in Smithton on Oct. 29, 1935 and is the daughter of the late Charles and Mary E. Dyarvoski Pancoast. She is the wife of the late Albert L. Schneider.
She is survived by children; Albert (Betty) Schneider of Glassport, Paul (Mary) Schneider of N. Irwin, Mark Schneider of Irwin and Tammy (Dave Rhodes) Schneider of McKeesport. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm . Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel and officiated by Pastor Charles Owston. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
