Evelyn Gloria Schaffner

Evelyn Gloria Schaffner, age 95, of McKeesport, PA, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026. She was born in McKeesport, PA on March 20, 1931 and was the son of the late John and Helen Fravega. Evelyn was the wife of the late William Richard Schaffner, Sr.

She is survived by her sons, William Richard Schaffner, Jr. of McKeesport, PA; Brian (Linda) Schaffner of Monroeville, PA; grandchildren, Nicole Schaffner; Kristy (Ryan) McCurdy; Steven Schaffner; Ashley Schaffner; Travis Schaffner; great-grandchildren, Cooper; Noah; Dylan; Brendan; Tyler; Tanner; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Schaffner of White Oak, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, Kim R. Schaffner; and sisters, Patricia (the late Bill) Rafferty; and Dolores (the late John) Philson.

Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Evelyn’s memory on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:30 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
