Elinor Ruth Nicholson, age 73, of Bethel Park, formerly of Marysville, Washington, died on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. She was born in Ontario, California on November 8, 1948 and is the daughter of the late Lynn Sumner and Elinor Poley Nicholson.
Elinor loved her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as all different animals. She loved to spend her day clipping photos of the animals or ads from magazines, books or newspapers.
She is survived by her brother, Lynn (Sandy) Nicholson of Nampa, Idaho; sisters, Rachel (Allan Hutt) Nicholson of Loveland, Colorado, Mary (William) Smith of Springfield, Oregon, and Joy (Peyton) Nicholson-Kane of Mt. Vernon, Washington; also many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Services were held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Burial in Fairview Cemetery in Meridian, Idaho.
