Eleonora Neri

Eleonora Neri, age 83, of McKeesport, died August 28, 2014. She was born in Valle Costillani Teremo Setticerri, Italy on January 16, 1931 and is the daughter of Giuseppi and Giuseppina Ricciotti Alfonsi. She was the beloved wife of Sabatino Neri. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in McKeesport. She worked for Feig's Bakery in White Oak for 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother who was the happiest when she was with her family and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children; Joanna Neri, Lino (Regina) Neri, & Anna (Peter) Maurizio all of McKeesport, grandchildren; Stephanie (Darren) Sargo, Alyssa, Thomas, & Mia Neri, Nicolas & Peter Maurizio, great grandchildren; Carmine & Roman Sargo, sisters; Adalgisa Pillera of Christy Park, Antonietta (John) Ficorilli of Pittsburgh, brothers; Sisto (Connie) Alfonsi of Pittsburgh, & Tom (Delores) Alfonsi of Little California. She was preceded in death by sisters; Maria Neri & LaVina Alfonsi.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor) tomorrow, August 29, 2014, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 AM at St. Patrick Church, 310 32nd Street, McKeesport. Entombment will follow.
