Elaine Edna Kennedy

Elaine Edna Kennedy, age 70, of N. Huntingdon, died Dec. 4, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Fidelis and Jessie Kubersky Mayer. She was an employee of Originality Plus and previously worked at J.C. Penney's in custom decorating and as a seamstress and was a member of St. Agnes Church in N. Huntingdon and a former Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts of America. Her hobbies included crafts and sewing and she absolutely loved and adored her dogs. She is survived by children; Christine (Edward Kurimcak) Kennedy of N. Huntingdon and Tiffany Kennedy of N. Huntingdon, stepsons; Brian (Alicia) Spahr of McKeesport and Lawrence (Lori) Spahr of N. Versailles, step grandchildren and a step great grandson, siblings; Joseph Mayer, Regina Dennis, Dolores Kleist, Josephine Gilles and Charles Mayer.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, 412 678 6177) on Tues. from 6-8 pm and Wed. 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Services will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thurs. at St. Agnes Church and burial will follow.
