Edward W. Holtzman, age 72, of North Huntingdon, PA, died on Monday, June 8, 2026. He was born in McKeesport, PA, on November 12, 1953, and was the son of the late William, Sr. and Rosemary Ganter Holtzman. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a pararescueman.
Edward is survived by his wife, Frances M. “Chee Chee” Slebodnik Holtzman; daughters, Amanda R. (Josh Clipp) Lyons of Latrobe, PA; and Lorin M. (Mathew) Boonie of North Huntingdon, PA; grandchildren, Sierra Lyons; Madison Boonie; Brianna Boonie; Evelyn Boonie; and Elijah Boonie; and siblings, Mary Hand of NC; William Holtzman, Jr. of Bethel Park, PA; and Mark (Theresa) Holtzman of McKeesport, PA.
In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his brother, Craig Holtzman, Sr.
The family gathered for prayers, officiated by Pastor Barbara Loeffler, on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). An entombment followed.
