Dorothy Latta, 85, of North Huntingdon, formerly of McKeesport, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014. She was born in McKeesport, April 2, 1929, and is the daughter of the late James and Floris Marks Irwin. She retired as a manager for Huntington Bank, the former Three Rivers Bank, with more than 15 years of service and was a member of the McKeesport Chamber of Commerce. She was very involved with McKeesport Presbyterian Church where she was active with the Women's Association, was an elder on the Board of Session and a choir member. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a 1947 graduate of McKeesport High School. She truly enjoyed playing Bridge and was an excellent Bridge player. She was the wife of the late Robert B. Latta Sr. and the mother of the late Robert B. Latta Jr. She is survived by children, Deborah (Dale) Filson, of Broomfield, Colo., Patricia (Timothy) Laffin, of Elizabeth Township, Joan (James) Fernandez, of South Riding, Va., and William Latta, of White Oak; 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Diane Latta, of White Oak; brother, James Irwin, of Tallahassee, Fla.; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131. Services will be held Tuesday at 10am at McKeesport Presbyterian Church, 1510 Versailles Ave., McKeesport, 15132 with the Rev. Dr. Darrell Knopp officiating.
